Cent'Anni restaurant and lounge has been a favorite staple of the Maplewood restaurant scene for the past nine years, with its generous portions of authentic northern and southern Italian cuisine, friendly and intimate bar, and excellent live music on weekends. South Orange residents Chris Farrow and his wife Laura took over the running of Cent'Anni in April 2005, with a view to building on Cent'Anni's excellent reputation and making it even more of a neighborhood meeting place, whether for a quick drink after work, a family celebration, or dinner for two.

The work of local artists graces the walls in periodic exhibitions, and live music - jazz, blues predominantly, but we have also recently featured an a capella choir! - can be heard most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Check the Now Playing link for current artists.
